The Bluffton Police Department Honor Guard was created with donations from local businesses, which covered the cost of the specialty uniforms. In return, they have made appearances at funerals, parades, basketball games and other special events. They were also honored to be asked to serve at the memorial service of the Late Governor O’Bannon.

Honor Guard members include Sgt. Jim Mettler, and Officers Andy Ellis, Dennis Fiscus, Brent Garrett and Mike Miller.
